Measuring the air velocity is very important in the summer, because at temperatures above 26 °C, it is possible to increase the air velocity, to prevent heat stress. The dangerous thing is that the air velocity is getting too high. That is why this meter is an important tool. Always try to prevent draft. This air velocity meter measures using wire probetechnology. The probe contains a temperature sensor and a heating wire. When measuring, the wire is heated to 100°C and it cools down due to the wind movement. Its speed of cooling is decisive for the air movement. Measurement stops when the temperature probe has cooled to 92°C. The meter is equipped with a telescopic probe, with a basis length of 28 cm, but it can be extended to 95 cm to measure on places that are difficult to reach. Is delivered in a suitcase including batteries, a probe and a user manual.
