Product description
Di-O-Clean is applicable for drinking water treatment and cleaning of drinking water systems. Di-O-Clean consists of two components which will generate, after blending, a 99,9% pure chlorine dioxide dissolved in water, without any chlorine or other harmful byproducts.
Characteristics of Di-O-Clean:
- Removes biofilm and prevents regrowth by dosing continuously
- Removes deposits of iron and manganese inside the drinking water system
- Is not corrosive after dosing to the drinking water system
- Is pH-independent ( effective between pH 2-10)
- Can be used for treatment of water containing sulfur
- Is 260% more effective compared to disinfectants based on chlorine
- Reacts directly with the cell wall of the micro-organisms (bacteria, salmonella, yeasts, molds and viruses). Due to this micro-organisms can not build up resistance against the solution
- Does not form harmful byproducts, such as THM, HAA, Mutagen X en chlorophenols , when using chlorine
- Has no influence on smell or taste of water, in contrast with chlorine
- Is very easy to use
- Makes water a safe and valuable nutrient
Additional Information
Application:
Phase 1: Cleaning
- Remove biofilm
- Remove deposits of iron and manganese
- Duration: 3-6 weeks, depending on level of pollution
- Dosage: 330 ml / 1000 liter water
- Can be used with animals inside the stable
Phase 2: Maintenance
- Prevent regrowth of biofilm
- Reduce of germ pressure
- Duration: continuously
Dosage: 50-100 ml / 1000 liter water, depending of germ pressure - Can be used with animals inside the stable
Phase 3: After using additives
- Remove rests of additives which have been used
- Duration: 3 days
- Dosage: 150-200 ml / 1000 liter water
- Can be used with animals inside the stable
- After 3 days continue with maintenance phase
Operating instructions:
- Store separate components at a dark place with a temperature of at least 10°C
- Add the content of the bottle (component B) to the content of the jerry can (component A)
- Close the Jerry can and shake it gently
- Wait for 30 minutes ans the solution is ready to use
- Dose the solution to the drinking water system with the Digi Doser Di-O 2,5 or 10
- Use the solution after blending preferably within 30 days, but maximum within 45 days
